Out of Scotland and a visit to the Arthuret Church. I was keen to photograph a window installed by my antecedents. Thomas Irving Kerr was my Great Grandfather and Mary Kerr was my Grandmother. The window was only installed relatively recently and represents the skills for which my family were known. Subject to further checking it appears that they were Master joinery, Teaching and Masonry. The first and last are the hobbies about which I am passionate and the second I spent 42 years doing! Maybe there is truth in the belief that talents/skills are inherited?
