Pleasanton Brick Oven Bakery - Traverse City




Check out Pleasanton Brick Oven Bakery web site by clicking on the heading above. I have just spent time in the bakery learning and borrowing ideas, Tuesday 17th June. The oven in the bakery is exactly like my own sitting in my back yard in Cairns. Both were designed by the same person, Alan Scott. The only difference is that the Bakery oven is a commercial oven and the floor is therefore a little bigger.

The specialty of the Bakery is sour-dough bread - they use no yeast!

Oh .... I have so much to learn and of course now have some great contacts to help me along the way!

(You can see that my emphasis on 'touring cycling' is on the touring! There is so much to see and discover.)
