Below is my original plan that I have used to guide my adventure and its starting to draw to a close. I'm now down to the Minneapolis to Missouri Valley part and one stage of that ride is rapidly coming to an end. Today is Sunday 22nd June and tomorrow I arrive at Ken Baker's house in Bridgman. Ken, Frank and Bob are all Whiners and live in these parts. I will be their guest for about three days before I begin the big ride to Missouri Valley. So I will have enjoyed the outstanding hospitality of Whiner Sharon in Minneapolis, Whiners Betsy and Steve in Boyne City, supported by Whiners Mark and Kathy and now its good old Whiners Ken, Bob and Frank. (I must say that Whiner Michael has offered to suffer my company but I haven't been able to take him up on it!)
Today I travelled from Hastings via Kalamazoo to Paw Paw and tomorrow I'll follow the Red Arrow Highway all the way to Bridgman, arriving about 3.00 PM. The ride from Hastings to Paw Paw today was 80Km. Check out the photo but dismiss the bit where I slip down State Road 140.... I'm going to stick on the Red Arrow Highway and stay on the coast all the way to Bridgman. ...as since recommended by Ken.
(Do you remember Anthropomorphosise? Here's a bit more...... As I travelled through Kalamazoo today I could feel my little friend Surley sitting beneath me getting a little frisky! It was then I realised that she had been purchased in Kalamazoo and then brought to Cairns by my mates Frank and Bob. She must have known she was back home!) .....nut case!
