So many bikes! A friend advised that you have to watch out for the mad cyclists and its true. If you step on a cycle path adjacent to the footpath and road you seriously could be hit by a cyclist easily doing 25ks to 30ks!
This shot is of one of many cycle parking places. Imagine the fuel, emissions, congestion if each of their owners drove their car to work instead of their bike?
It would be good if we could change our Australian culture to become a little more accommodating of bikes. The first change needed is to ensure planners made sound provision for bikes on the roads....we are on the way but we can go so much further.
