I had a fabulous time in Launceston and a particular highlight was a wonderful dinner hosted by my daughter's friends - Ianthe and Nadia. Great food, lovely wine and all enjoyed within an environment of challenging and stimulating conversation. Having been a cycle tourist Ianthe convinced me to visit Le Mont-St Michel, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mont_Saint-Michel), and the Narbonne to Bordeaux canal,

So this morning it was off to the airport in Launceston to begin the exciting long haul to Madrid.
